ChadTape Community Rules

ChadTape shows public NFT trades and lets people post around them. These rules cover everything you write there — takes and replies, the name you give your wallet, clan names and tags, and direct messages — and what happens when they are broken.

⚡ Quick answer
Be honest and be decent. No scams or phishing, no impersonation, no harassment or hate, nobody's private information, no spam. Moderators can remove posts, hide names and ban a wallet from posting.

What you may not post

  • Scams and phishing — links or instructions meant to drain a wallet, fake mints, airdrops or giveaways, and any "send first" offer.
  • Impersonation — posing as another trader, a collection, a project team, ChadBot or its moderators, in a take, a name or a clan tag.
  • Harassment and hate — threats, slurs, attacks on a person or a group, encouraging self-harm.
  • Private information — someone's real name, home address, phone number or private messages without their consent. A wallet's trades are public; who is behind a wallet is not yours to reveal.
  • Spam — the same message again and again, unrelated advertising, mass DMs.

What ChadTape does on its own

  • Names and clan tags are checked when you set them. Links, reserved names such as ChadBot's own and a short list of slurs are refused, and so is a wallet name that looks like an address, an @handle or a name someone already has.
  • A link in a take or a reply is cut down to the site's name unless it points to X, Tensor, Magic Eden, OpenSea or ChadBot.
  • A take and its replies are removed automatically after about three days.
  • Direct messages are rate-limited, a wallet can start only a limited number of new conversations a day, and you can block or mute a sender or turn DMs off.

Reporting and muting

Once you are signed in, every take, trader and clan has a Report option in its ⋯ menu. Pick a reason — spam, scam or fraud, abuse or harassment, an offensive name, or something else — and it goes to ChadTape's moderators for review.

Mute a wallet from the same menu and you stop seeing its takes and its pings. A mute is yours alone: nothing changes for anyone else.

What moderators can do

Moderators can remove a take, a reply or a whole thread, hide a wallet's name or a clan, and ban a wallet from posting, reacting, setting a name and using clans. If they must, they can pause posting for everyone.

A ban never touches your wallet, your NFTs or your trades. You can still read the tape, delete your own takes, unfollow and leave a clan.

We do not promise how quickly a report is looked at.

Trades are public, and nothing here is advice

ChadTape shows trades that are already public on-chain. A trade, a flip's result, a reputation mark or a take is information, not a recommendation: nothing on ChadTape is financial advice.

Copy trade is your own decision

Where a card offers Copy trade, ChadBot only prepares a transaction. Nothing happens until you check it and sign it with your own wallet — the decision, the signature and the result are yours.
