What is ChadTape?
ChadTape is the social layer of ChadBot. One shared live stream carries the trades, sweeps and heat spikes the tape sees across Tensor, Magic Eden, Orbis and OpenSea, and your browser picks what to show you. Open it at chadbot.app/tape — reading it needs no account and no wallet.
The four feeds
| Feed | What it shows |
|---|---|
| For you | The moments the tape ranks for you — flips, sweeps, heat and takes — learning from what you open, follow and react to, in this browser only. |
| Following | Only the traders and collections you follow. |
| Live | Every trade the tape sees as it lands, newest first. |
| News | Posts from NFT projects' X accounts, when there are any. |
How to follow a trader
- Open ChadTape.
- Tap the wallet on any trade, flip or sweep — its trader sheet opens with its trades, flips and holdings.
- Press Follow. For a collection, open it from any card and press Watch.
- Open the Following tab: only the traders and collections you follow, live.
- Optional: sign in to ChadBot to keep your follows on your other devices.
Flips: the return after fees
A flip is one wallet buying an NFT and later selling that same NFT. When ChadTape measured both trades it shows the return after fees — marketplace fees and royalties on both sides — and otherwise the price return before fees. An estimated figure carries a small ≈, for example when a royalty is not in the feed.
Heat, Hot Hands and clans
- Heating up — several different wallets buying one collection within minutes. The heat board ranks collections by buys over the last 10 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours or 24 hours.
- Hot Hands — wallets ranked by the profit of their closed flips: by approximate USD value in the All view, or within the one currency you pick.
- Clans — groups of traders under one tag, ranked together on their own boards.
- Reputation — counts the days a wallet closed flips in profit and stayed in profit without its single biggest buyer; a place in a daily Hot Hands top 15 is worth more. Days reset at 00:00 UTC. Profit is estimated (≈) where marketplace fees aren't reported. It ignores open positions and trades off the tape, and a good record doesn't promise future results. A day counts when the wallet made at least that currency's minimum without its single biggest buyer (0.01 SOL · 0.0005 ETH · 0.25 USDC · 0.25 USDG · 0.25 USDT · 0.05 HYPE · 2 APE). The extra points for a top 15 need a full board: at least 15 wallets in profit that day. Days in other currencies don't count yet.
Sharing a moment
Any card on the tape can be shared as a link with its own image. The link is signed by ChadBot's server from its own record of the trade, so the card shows VERIFIED ON-CHAIN; a link someone edited by hand opens the plain tape instead, with none of its text.
Chains, marketplaces and currencies
On Solana the tape follows Tensor, Magic Eden, Orbis and OpenSea; on Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Arc, HyperEVM it follows only the collections ChadBot follows on OpenSea. Every amount is shown in its own chain's currency, and nothing is added across currencies — WETH counts as ETH, nothing else is merged.
Privacy
Reading the tape needs no account. What For you learns about you stays in your browser. Wallet addresses on the tape are public on-chain data, and a trader's page on ChadTape is never shown in search results.
Traders you follow on ChadTape can see that you followed them if you choose to show it.
FAQ
What is ChadTape?
ChadTape is ChadBot's live social feed of NFT trading. It shows trades, flips, sweeps and heat spikes from Tensor, Magic Eden, Orbis and OpenSea across Solana, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Arc, HyperEVM as they happen. Follow any trader or collection straight from the feed — no sign-up needed — and share any moment as a signed card.
How do I follow NFT traders on ChadTape?
Tap the wallet on any trade, flip or sweep to open that trader's sheet, then press Follow; for a collection, open it and press Watch. The Following tab shows only the traders and collections you follow. Follows live in your browser, so no account is needed; sign in to ChadBot to keep them on your other devices.
What is a flip?
A flip is one wallet buying an NFT and later selling that same NFT. ChadTape shows a flip's return after marketplace fees and royalties when it measured both trades, and the price return before fees when it did not; ≈ marks an estimate.
What does "heating up" mean?
A collection is heating up when several different wallets buy it within a few minutes. The heat board ranks collections by buys over the last 10 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours or 24 hours.
What is Hot Hands?
Hot Hands ranks wallets by the profit of their closed flips. The All view orders them by approximate USD value at the tape's current rates, or within each currency when a rate is missing; pick a currency to rank that one alone. Each profit stays in its own currency, and nothing is added across currencies.
What does VERIFIED ON-CHAIN mean on a shared card?
Cards shared from ChadTape are signed by ChadBot's server from its own record of the trade. A link whose signature checks out opens that exact moment and shows VERIFIED ON-CHAIN; an edited or hand-made link opens the plain tape instead.
Which chains and marketplaces does ChadTape cover?
On Solana: Tensor, Magic Eden, Orbis and OpenSea. On Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Arc, HyperEVM: only the collections ChadBot follows on OpenSea. Every amount stays in its own chain's currency — ChadTape never adds SOL to ETH.
Is ChadTape free?
Yes. Reading the tape, following traders and collections, and sharing cards are free. A trade you make through ChadBot pays ChadBot's usual trading fees.
